Clear insight. Resilient value.

Newcopia is an agtech startup working on soil insight, monitoring, and risk management for farmland. We help owners and operators see what's changing on the ground and make long-horizon decisions together.

Our Approach

Decisions about farmland unfold over decades. The tooling should match that horizon.

Better decisions on farmland start with better information, trusted by the people who actually work the land.

A century of intensification has made farmland more productive and, in many places, more fragile. The people responsible for it (owners, operators, lenders, advisors) are making decisions that will play out over decades using tools built for the next quarter.

We're building the layer underneath. Measurement, modeling, and workflows that make soil health legible as an asset you can see, plan around, finance against, and improve. We work closely with the operators who know the land best, and we take the time to get it right.

What we're building

Four capabilities. One place to work from.

Soil insight, monitoring, risk, and collaboration in one system, instead of scattered across spreadsheets, PDFs, and binders.

Soil insight

A field-level view of soil condition and how it's changing over time. We pull sampling, imagery, and operator knowledge into one picture so you're not reading the story in three different places.

Monitoring

A continuous record of what's happening on each parcel, so you see changes early in the season instead of at harvest.

Risk management

A clearer read on the physical, operational, and market risks that shape land value. Structured so asset managers can act on it, not just file it.

Collaboration

A shared workspace for owners, operators, and their advisors. Everyone involved in a property looks at the same information and works from the same plan.

Who we serve

For the people accountable for the land.

We're most useful to organizations whose farmland decisions play out over decades, and whose stakeholders expect rigor and documentation.

Institutional landowners

Steward farmland at portfolio scale.

For asset managers, family offices, endowments, and farmland funds who need a defensible, portfolio-level read on soil condition and how land is trending.

  • Portfolio-wide view across every parcel
  • Diligence and monitoring you can share with stakeholders
  • A defensible record of land condition over time
Operators & farm managers

Keep the land productive, season after season.

For the operators and managers making the real decisions on the ground. Context and continuity, kept in one place across seasons and ownership changes.

  • Field-level insight without extra busywork
  • A shared record across operator and owner
  • Early signal on change, before it costs you
Channel & advisory partners

Extend your practice with better ground truth.

For agronomy firms, appraisers, lenders, insurers, and advisors whose clients expect more than a PDF report at the end of the year.

  • White-label and co-delivery options
  • A shared layer across your clients and portfolios
  • Data your team can stand behind, documented end to end
Why now

A huge asset class, still mostly run on spreadsheets.

$3.5T+
global farmland value. One of the largest real-asset classes, still mostly managed on spreadsheets.
60%+
of farmland in many regions is leased. Owners and operators need shared, trustworthy information between them.
$400B
estimated global annual cost of soil degradation. A first-order driver of long-term farmland value.
1 gen
the horizon that matters for this asset class. That's what we're building for.
Partners & Advisors

We're building this with the field, close to the people who work it.

Newcopia is early. We're assembling a small group of advisors and channel partners whose experience will shape what we build. People with deep roots in farmland ownership, operations, agronomy, capital, or policy.

If you'd like to compare notes, pilot on a small footprint, or discuss an advisory role, we'd like to hear from you.
